AIMM was founded in 2019 by Dr. Luis Estevez to commercialize his porous carbon technology for water treatment. Luis has spent a 15+ year career in materials science developing his porous carbon materials for various applications. Digging into the problem of clean water, Luis realized that he could make a bigger impact by commercializing his tech— and he founded AIMM.
